Felicia Forrest, MSN, ARNP

Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner

Felicia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles and then her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She began her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife and spent several years as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Felicia’s love of cosmetic injecting is evident to her patients by the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every visit. She always strives to perfect her skills. Felicia often attends seminars, classes and continuing medical education events to stay current with the latest techniques and procedures. She always looks for ways to achieve the optimal results for her patients. Felicia has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 13 years. She has two teenage children. Her daughter is a competitive swimmer and water polo player, so Felicia spends a lot of time at various pools in the area. When she’s not hard at work, Felicia loves being outdoors and enjoys running, doing CrossFit and spending time with her family.

Jennifer joined The Medical Spa at Gene Juarez after graduating with honors from Arizona State University’s highly competitive post-baccalaureate BSN program. With a passion for aesthetics and expertise in human anatomy, she provides aesthetic injectables to enhance one’s natural beauty. Jennifer’s approach to nursing begins with building a trusting relationship with patients. She believes in focusing on education to help patients make the best decision about their treatment plan to meet their individual goals. Her patients look refreshed and feel more confident about their appearance. Jennifer is a Washington native and currently lives in Bellevue with her family.

Alexander W. Sobel, DO, FAACS

Medical Director

Dr. Alex Sobel has been exclusively in private practice for cosmetic surgery for ten years. His expertise is based in thousands of cosmetic surgical and aesthetic procedures and years of continuing education, lecturing, publishing and training other surgeons. He is triple-board certified in Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sobel has lectured on liposuction, facelifts, laser resurfacing, facial fat grafting, otoplasty, breast augmentation and breast enhancement with fat grafting at several nationally and internationally-renowned conferences. Dr. Sobel has also instructed other surgeons in many cosmetic procedures at several cadaveric teaching courses. He has published on topics including the intra-oral technique of injectable fillers – a method which drastically reduces inflammation and bruising potential, increases patient comfort, and leaves no injection marks. For the past six years, he has also served as a reviewer for the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sobel is a proud member of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and co-chair of the World Congress on Liposuction 2017. Committed to the education of others, Dr. Sobel is adjunct clinical faculty for both Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a governor-appointed member of the Washington State Osteopathic Medical Board. Dr. Sobel is proud to have trained other surgeons in the field of General Cosmetic and Facial Cosmetic Surgery via his AACS-accredited fellowship and through his lectures and demonstrations at meetings and courses. A past recipient of the William K. Miles, M.D. award for the highest written exam score in Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Sobel has served as an examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery for the past seven years. Dr. Sobel is also, currently, the immediate Past President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and the Vice President of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Shannon Eyford

General Manager

Shannon Eyford began her professional career as a Doctor of Chiropractic after graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in 2002. She owned and operated a large multidisciplinary chiropractic practice in Tacoma for more than ten years. Shannon’s love of health, beauty and personal growth, as well as business development spurred her venture into the aesthetic industry, becoming General Manager of The Medical Spa at Gene Juarez in January 2018. Her priority in managing the medical spa is to consistently provide the highest quality of care with a focus on client results. When she’s not working, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family. With two sons, ages 11 and 13, who are involved in lacrosse, swimming and skiing, you can often find her cheering on the sidelines. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Shannon loves to be active, including playing tennis, golfing, riding her Harley, boating and skiing.

Carly Steiner

Patient Care Coordinator

Carly is a PNW native who grew up in and around the skincare and beauty industry, with a special interest in the aesthetic profession. The opportunity to combine the high standard of Gene Juarez culture with The Medical Spa was a perfect fit for her passion and skills. Her role as a Patient Care Coordinator allows her to help others enhance their appearance, feel more confident and uncover their inner beauty. She is known to speak with a smile and always prepared to answer any questions that come her way. Her enthusiasm, energy, and attention to detail for the Gene Juarez culture allow her to appeal and understand each guests’ individual needs. On weekends and free time, Carly enjoys going hiking, camping, trips to the ocean, road trips, fishing with her husband and loving on her Labradors. She also loves sushi!
